Have you ever wondered what your marketing preferences say about you? Well, I love everything “Friends” related, so I created a fun quiz based on the show! If you’ve taken the quiz already, sweet! Below are how all the different “Friends” types break down. If you haven’t taken it already, do so here!
I’ve also included a little book recommendation for each answer. Because entrepreneurs can’t read enough books, amirite?
Which “Friend” are you?
You’re a precise marketer who loves funnels, metrics, and analytics. You probably know if your Instagram insights are trending up or down on any given day and if your Instagram feed isn’t crisp and clean, then you definitely wish it was.
You understand your niche and your ideal customer, but don’t forget to be a little creative now and then.
Try reading Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear by Elizabeth Gilbert for inspiration.
Could you BE any more Chandler? Probably not! But that’s OK, because you’re naturally drawn to analytics and details (not to Monica’s level, but who is?!). That natural fascination will help you understand more about what works and what doesn’t work in your marketing strategy.
Capitalize on your talent in smaller groups and one-on-one interaction…parties and big networking events might not be the best fit for you. Be sure to weave your natural humor into your content and make sure to keep things focused. You don’t want people being confused about what you do!
Have you read Prison Break: Vanquish the Victim, Own Your Obstacles, and Lead Your Life yet? You might find inspiration there!
Just like Ross, you’re drawn to teaching and guiding others on their path. If you haven’t started an online course yet, you might want to get to it! You do well on camera, so get on Instagram Stories or YouTube Live because video is where it’s at!
Be careful that you write your blog and social media posts with what your client/customer has in mind and don’t overwhelm them with details. Remember, people want to hear that you can help them with their problem. They’re less concerned with how you do it.

You’re fashion-forward in everything you do…even if you’re not a fashion blogger or stylist! You’re all about your brand image and you probably have more social media followers than you know what to do with! And if not, honey, let’s talk because you should!
Don’t get bogged down in the details of your day-to-day marketing tasks. Instead, outsource those tasks to someone else. You’re all about #luxe and rosé all day, so why weigh yourself down with the details?

You love being in front of the camera and that’s awesome! Get on Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube live, depending on your preferences. Let people see your smile and charismatic spirit! Networking events are a great place for you to meet other people and professionals.
